Stephanie Colbert was born in Anchorage, Alaska, but spent most of her youth in Europe. She travelled extensively and developed a love of history. She particularly enjoyed exploring castles and cathedrals, with their stained glass picturesque windows and their spires that reached towards the heavens. She has written five books: A Twisted Wisdom: Secrets, Lies and Deception; Mystery of Lost Creek; The Chemist: A Psychological Thriller; The Hunter: Will You Be Next?; and the unpublished sequel in the Steele Resolve Series, Find My Sin: Save My Life. She has also published two short stories, “Death in the Amazon” and “The Hunter Becomes the Hunted.” Stephanie is currently working on Dreadful Dilemma and Splintered Sidewalk with Michael McShane. After a trip to Hawaii, Stephanie developed a love of kayaking, and enjoys trips to different lakes in a tandem kayak with her husband of many years. When she is writing, her two rescue dogs keep her company.
